CNC machined tactile switch housings, designed by Kessel Custom Sabers.
These are made to house small tactile switches for various saber designs that utlize 8mm switch holes.
Metal parts come in two pieces, and include a two legged tactile switch, printed holder, and a small section of 1.5mm brass rod material.
These do not come fully assembled or pre-soldered, user assembly and installation is required.
For proper assembly, prep the 3D printed housing by test fitting the brass rod, clearing out any necessary material for it to slide through easily. The holes will line up with the metal housing.
Wire up your tactile switch using 30AWG wire or smaller, and glue to the top of the printed part. Insert the smaller metal piece into the housing and slide in the assembled switch section. Push the brass rod through the aligned holes, making sure you have good tactile feedback, and then trim any excess brass rod.
Available in aluminum, brass and copper materials.
